1. 5% minoxidil purchased from the local pharmacy. I'm planning to switch to minoxidil once I am finished with the scalp tonic!
2. Kracie Ichikami smoothing care shampoo purchased from a Japanese drug store.
3. Scalp tonic applicator comb purchased from AliExpress. I am really excited to try this with the minoxidil. Currently, I am using the part, spray and massage with fingers technique when applying scalp products.
4. Wooden octopus head massager purchased from AliExpress. It's to encourage blood circulation to my scalp.
5. Innisfree aloe revitalizing soothing gel purchased from the brand store. I was deliberating between Nature Republic, Tony Moly but ultimately decided on Innisfree because of the packaging! Planning to use this a) as a soothing mask after sauna sessions, b) with my facial device, c) foot mask.

That haul is so fun! I love seeing practical tools mixed with great J-beauty and K-beauty staples. I have long hair too and love taking care of it! Right now, my absolute top wishlist item is the &honey Melty Moist Repair (Pink) hair oil—Japanese formulations are unmatched when it comes to lightweight slip and frictionless detangling without flattening fine hair. On the scalp side, I'm currently testing the MOGAM Changpo Root Ritual Scalp Serum and so far, so good! It’s completely water-weight, so it doesn't leave any grease or residue at the roots, which has been great now that the weather is getting colder and drier. The applicator comb sounds so satisfying for tonics—it makes parting and applying so much faster. Also, using the Innisfree aloe gel for facial devices is pure genius—such a great multi-tasker! Tell me how it feels (does it zap??) as I need to look into an aloe vera gel as well! ✨
This reminds me to get into Minoxidil and Look for my scalp massager again ✍️ I am using the Purcell Pixcell Biome Tonic right now and love it. Also tried the Moev one, also nice. Basically I like the refreshing aspect and that they work against buildup on the scalp. Recently learned that my skin is way more combination than dry, so I had to declutter a lot of stuff 😭
