Treating milia at home with topicals

Has anyone successfully reduce milia on their own? I've seen a few Social Media dermatologists discuss using topicals like:

Adapalene gel
AHA overnight peels
retinol eye creams

It's not a high priority skin issue for me, but I'm curious if anyone has had success, especially other sensitive types and/or anyone who had to treat milia around the eyes.
