Aging skin & care
Hello Beautiful!
I am 56 with dry mature skin and live in Texas (so think heat and humidity constantly). Fell in love with Korean skincare in the last 3 years. Shop at Olive Young & Amore Mall online obviously as haven't personally made it to Seoul yet! My current morning routine is rinse face with water, Primera organience toner, Iope PDRN Caffeine serum, Hana moisturizer =) followed by House of Hur weightless sunscreen. Evening routine is cleanse with Beplain mung bean foaming cleanser, Primera Vitatinol bouncy lift serum, followed by Hana with a drop or two of One Thing jojoba oil. My skin seems to like this so far! I do notice that when I let it dry after being wet, skin tends to feel a little drier, so may need more moisture somewhere (in toner/serum/moisturizer) or maybe stop using the vitatinol at night? I have also notice the disappearance of collagen in my face in the last 6 months (a few more wrinkles around eyes), so I have no idea what to do about that (the thinning skin and face). May have to ask derm about tretinoin? I just want to age gracefully! =) I truly appreciate YOU Cyoung!

omg your routine is so thoughtful!! try patting your toner on damp skin, game changer for dryness!! thank you for sharing 💛
Wow! Thank you for sharing 🤍 You honestly look 10 years+++ younger!! I was also told to focus on eye aging, so I’ve been testing eye creams—found one all artists love (coming as my May CYoung’s pick!). You can add an eye cream AM & PM. Collagen supplements + enough protein (meat/fish) help 😂 With seasonal changes, add sheet masks, and if needed, switch your night serum to an advanced gel-type formula (like a “Holitual serum”). Focus on hydration first, then consider a derm 👍 Stay awesome😊👑 💕
I think you look beautiful! I see that you use all of CYoung’s favorite picks!👍
My goodness, thank you all for the replies! Cyoung....seriously, MAY... that's a month away, yikes, patience is a virtue, right?! :-) I gotta wait that long. I think I have a Holitual sample from my last order at Amore Mall, I will check and see what it is and try it out. Which sheet masks would be most moisturizing? I do have one of the Holitual Resurfacing peel pads, would that be moisturizing?
Those peel pads are amazing!!! Maybe your daughter in law should try those?
If you can get a sample of Holitual, definitely give it a try! The Holitual peeling pad is for exfoliation + hydration, so I’d use it about once a week. What I meant though is a purely hydrating sheet mask. From Innisfree on Amore Mall, I’ve always stocked up on their masks. Recently, both my friends and I have been loving the PDRN Retinol Mask (it says retinol, but it’s not irritating at all—just really hydrating). Or the Black Tea Mask from the same brand is also a great option, especially since it’s on sale right now :)
