THE Sensitive, Acne-Prone Skin MVP: Abso
My skin looks so much better and less irritable after just one use of these. The cream has sulfur and that’s what brought me towards the product because I’m a fan of drying lotions like Kate Sommerville. But then I Checked - related, but not the same.
🧪 Kate Somerville EradiKate = 10% elemental sulfur (per its FDA drug label). That's the classic drying-lotion sulfur - keratolytic, dries the pimple out.
🌿 Abso Bio-Band = MSM sulfur (methylsulfonylmethane), an organic sulfur compound. Sulfur family, but gentler - anti-inflammatory, supports repair, no drying effect, no sulfur smell. That's why they pair it with TECA, PDRN and 5% panthenol - it's a repair cream, not a drying lotion.
So same family, opposite jobs: Kate's kills the pimple by drying it, Abso's calms and rebuilds.
I’ll keep using through the next 2 weeks and report back but I’m so happy so far. 😊

That's great information! I'm sure there's a few folks on here who have been struggling with acne who will love to know about a product like this. My younger self definitely would have! A few of us have been talking about how tackling the skin barrier and hydration is sometimes the better solution than aiming only to kill the pimples themselves. Can't wait to read about your results! Are you using them together or just trying the Abso product?
I use the drying lotion when I have a cystic pimple that’s about to pop and hurts because unfortunately I still get cystic acne. But when I just see those little red dots of sebum and irritated skin, I’m just using the Abso products.
@GlowGetterSam Thanks! I used to get "JAKne" on my forehead from my previous psoriasis medication and it sounds like the Abso Bio-Band product would have helped, especially with the cost of the prescription medication my doctor gave me to treat the side effects.
