De:Maf Hype vs My Experiences

Lately my Instagram has been flooded by ads and promotions for De:Maf products so I ordered one of their Trial Kits from Amazon. The videos that they post to advertise look very appealing and the creators skin is so flawless (I know genetics diet and other factors play a bigger role than just skincare) that it's hard not to want to try this brand.

So far I like the "My First Hydrating Serum" though it does seem to need quite a few layers for my dry skin, but I normally layer my toners anyway. It should be stated that despite being labeled as a Serum, its runny foamy texture makes it much more like a toner. So far I like that it isn't harsh on my skin and I can use it when my skin isnt at its best, so while I don't want to say its safe for sensitive skin because I'm not entirely sure on that yet, I have been able to use it with a weaker skin barrier without any issues. I will likely repurchase at some point.

I also received some of the cleansers and the cream in the Trial Kit, though I havent used the cleansers much mostly because my skin is very dry and doesnt need anything too harsh as I don't really wear makeup and prefer to use the Be:Plain Milk Balm as my go-to cleanser. I did try the "Im So Jelly Olive Oil Cleanser" and actually liked how it smelled like Olive Oil? Maybe I'm just weird lol :D It didn't dry me out and I think I would want to purchase a full sized bottle when I eventually run out of the dozen or so other cleansers in my stash except for one reason: The downside is the price: $49 for a full 5.07fl oz bottle. If I don't repurchase, it will probably be because I've found another cleanser that does the job for less $

I liked the "Creams Come True" but it wasn't anything super special in my opinion. I prefer the AESTURA ATOBARRIOR365 Cream and CYOUNGS Hana am/pm moisturizer so I probably wouldn't buy a full sized bottle of the De:Maf cream and instead stick with the other two I mentioned.

I'm curious to hear if anyone else tried this brand and if so, what products did you like/not like and why/why not?
