Hand Screen - Unnecessary Add Step?
I love Supergoop. Not sure if I've mentioned that recently. ๐คช But when I see a sunscreen sold separately for just the hands, I have to question the company's sales model.
Whatever I put on my face goes on my hands (prescription topicals excluded) - cleanser, toner, serums, moisturizers, and SPF - I always make sure there's enough for face, neck, below neck ๐ข , and my hands.
Am I controversial in my opinion or is Supergoop controversial in their business model? Is this any different than selling face and body lotions as separate products?
Where have you seen these kind of "add step" or cross-sale products that made you go, "Huh?"

I use dedicated hand creams on my hands because they require a much heavier, richer formula than my face or body, and when I was in Korea, I was looking at hand creams with SPF, but then went, wait a minute, what am I thinking? Yes, dedicated hand cream, but they get the same sunscreen as my face and then again as my body (and you are right, they get everything else too, because I use them to apply and then rub on them as well). So yeah, a sunscreen just for hands would give me an eyebrow rise. A hand cream that has sunscreen in it, I can see that, but a separate sunscreen for hands (and with a lower SPF at that), definitely not something I'd go for! (also, what's up with that? Our hands see the most sun of all of our body, particularly if one is driving, so don't they deserve the highest of SPFs?!)
I think this is just over the top and unnecessary I mean maybe hand cream I can understand but a hand sunscreen thatโs just a waste of money in my opinion
