If You Could Start Your K-Beauty Journey All Over Again, What Advice Would You Give Yourself?
I'll go first!
The advice I'd give myself if I could start all over again with K-Beauty products is:
✍🏻 Take advantage of the trial size and travel packs instead of investing in full size products during the exploration phase. 🧳
✍🏻 Follow content creators with my skin type. 🦞
✍🏻 There is time to try new things -- I don't have to try everything all at once. 🥵
Bonus Question: What would you pat yourself on the back for doing right?
⭐️ Finding content creators from Korea who talk about the brands and routines actually used natively instead of what's trending on social media. 🇰🇷
⭐️ Tracking my stash with a spreadsheet so I can use it like an apothecary inventory. 💊
⭐️ Finding plastic shoe racks with drawers on TEMU to contain my stash 🫣
Your turn!

Ack! Thought of another one... I DON'T HAVE TO PURCHASE A BRAND'S ENTIRE LINE. This is not the time to be a completist.
This is what I was going to say! Just because I like a product or even half of a line from a brand doesn’t mean that everything they make is gold for my skin specifically
My advices to my not so clever 7/8 months ago version 😂 1✍️- Do not fall for reedle shot, it was the beginning of the end for your skin ☠️ 2✍️- brands tell the creators what to post about their products and most of the time they didn’t even test it properly, don’t fall for it! 3✍️- face masks from drugstore are most of the time not good and the burning sensation it gives it’s not because it’s working, it’s actually quite the opposite 😂 4✍️- On the other hand some skincare products from the drugstore performs better than some expensive ones, just be open minded because price # quality. 5✍️- you don’t neeeeed every seasonal product it’s released, there’s just so much pumpkin, coffee and chai scented stuff one can get 😭☕️🎃 What I patting myself for: 1✍️: being curious enough to search and find creators you can trust like Cyoung 2✍️: Buy Aestura when my skin barrier was f** also because of Cyoung! It helped me so much 3✍️: not buying any Medicube products so far (the temptation is too high but I have second thoughts on this brand, the hype though is difficult to resist haha) 4✍️: always trying to finish all my products even when I don’t like them, then I try to repurpose or give it away to someone. 5✍️: trying hard not to be an impulsive buyer and focusing on buying new stuff when you actually need it or finished a product. (My only issue is lip products, I reckon I have difficulty of saying no to them so need to work on that, but I proud myself to try and use up all of them regardless, is not only a pretty collection item). 6✍️- repurposing my empty containers, specially the small/mini versions as a travel container in the future or as a container to add into my everyday bag and stuff! You don’t need to buy travel container when your testers and minis already work just fine, just give it a wash and good to go!
@hazelmoss I’m curious to see what categories (?) you use in your spreadsheet to rate/rank the products! I identify way too much of not needing to buy the entire collection of a brand, I’m “lucky” I have no money for it but then unlucky for not having money you know what I mean? 😂😂
Important one I forgot to add on the list .. one of the best things I could have done was joining this community because I lost the count of how many times I wanted to talk or just read about a product but there was no one to do that with. Sometimes I don’t want to watch a video about it and it’s harder and harder to find written reviews and even more from honest people that are not trying to sell you anything!
@hazelmoss START EARLIER IN LIFE!!!! :-)
