For me, the big one is definitely an at-home LED mask (like the CurrentBody)! ๐ก
โItโs firmly sitting in my 'save up or ask for a joint birthday gift' category rather than an impulse buy.
โWhen it comes to regular topical skincare, some luxury Shiseido textures come to mind. Their sensory formulas and velvety finishes feel incredible to use, but at the end of the day, I know I'm paying mostly for the premium cosmetic vehicle and packaging.
With so many well-formulated, barrier-focused Korean options out there that do the actual heavy lifting for a fraction of the cost, I donโt feel like my routine is missing out on much by skipping them!
I know we all have different opinions and budgets but to me Aestura is bit pricey so I keep buying their kits to get a bit of discount.
We find good skincare ranging from โฌ10/โฌ20 but Aestura is always around โฌ30, this is almost what I pay on my weekly groceries ๐ข
Apart from that and the masks and devices already mentioned above, I also feel like hair products are so expensive in general! Like Kerastase for example โ ๏ธ nioxin as well a brand I like it a lot but their shampoo is always โฌ20/โฌ25 whilst we have shampoos from โฌ2.50/โฌ10
i usually go for inexpensive products as above a threshold, what you are paying for is not the formula but the brand prestige. so buying pricey skincare and makeup seems very optional to me. BUTTTTT
SK-II Pitera! i have was gifted this essence. legit rationed it for 6months as i didnt want to get over. i still have the bottle stored away because of the memories and how it made my skin so glowyyy. i really want to buy it again but its never on sale๐ซ
