Barrier Cream for Cold and Humid Conditions
I am in the midst of changing my line-up- we went from hot to humid with cold vibes, and my skin is worried. At this moment I'm debating between using Illiyoon Ultra Repair Lotion and Aestura. Those may be a bit thick since it's not quite wintery enough. Any suggestions?

I had an idea for a similar thread just today, I am panicking over Scandinavian climate when we pass from summer (more like spring-like) temperatures to full winter mode! So for me it's already wintery enough, but for you, if you love the barrier-repair power of Aestura but find the classic cream or Illiyoon too suffocating, maybe try the Aestura Atobarrier 365 Hydro Soothing Cream or Lotion?
@Annie and @Mariacasino I weirdly feel like the AESTURA Atobarrier 365 lotion feels better than the Hydro Soothing Cream. I patch tested the three AESTURA creams before bed a few days ago. - [near left ear - dry skin.] The OG cream left the most film the next day. - [near right ear - dry skin.] The lotion I could feel but much lighter...as it would. - [Chin - oily skin] The hydro cream was gone. I don't necessarily need my face to feel exactly how it felt when I first apply cream, but if it totally dries up after 5-7 hours then it's not going to be soothing enough -- and my chin is oily! Where did the moisture go? I thought my crypt keeper cheeks would have sucked up the other two. I'd recommend the AESTURA Atobarrier 365 lotion and then amp up to the cream in a month or two. Or what I'm doing, which is a mix. Cream at night, rosacea delight. Lotion in the morning, flushing take warning. I've only used the blue, gray, and red Illiyoon lotions on my body. I think I'd only use the Ultra Repair line on my legs when they're actively flaking...or to stop them from flaking. She heavy!
@hazelmoss I’ve been layering the hydro cream and then the OG. I put the hydro cream on first and let the soothing relief kick in before I later apply the OG cream over it to lock in moisture

@Mariacasino I do have the lotion, it's a bit more toner-like for me but I do enjoy it. I use it more as a mist.
I might use both Ilyoon and Aestura layered as needed for the winter but my skin is so dry that if it were any dryer I’d be a snake 🐍 😭
I like snakes. Well. Garter snakes. Not the murder snakes.
@hazelmoss I had a 6ft boa constrictor as a pet so I love all snakes lol but I’d rather my skin not shed like one
