HERA Sensual Powder Matte Liquid: 7 shades swatched (Soft Autumn, dry lips)
> @BeauteAddict wrote: "What color did you get and how long does it last?"
My collection includes "Sensual Powder Matte Liquid:
- 145 Forever Young*
- 213 Peach Chic*
- 220 Sundaze
- 400 Dare Bare
- 420 Amber Cream
- 426 Earl Grey
- 499 Rosy Suede
All but the asterisked shades are from Amore Mall. Forever Young and Peach Chic are from YesStyle. It's shockingly difficult to find the entire range in one online store.
I'm a "Soft Autumn" complexion so the HERA line is probably too bright and deep but I don't care because they feel so good! Also, caveat, the bottles and the swatch images don't accurately capture the colors, which tend to be darker or more saturated than shown. Rosy Suede is a good example. I still love them all.
As for wear, I'm a poor candidate. I touch, chew, and move my lips too much and I don't necessarily use a straw or utensils every time I eat, so no lipstick is going to wear for long on me unless it's a very determined stain. That's not HERA'S fault, lol.
Swatches below in the order of the list from wrist to elbow.

@hazelmoss This is the most useful HERA post on the site and nobody searching for it will find it, because the title says "Continuing from: Hera new launch" instead of what's actually in here — seven Sensual Powder Matte Liquid shades swatched wrist to elbow, with the "bottles lie, it's darker in real life" warning everyone needs before ordering from Amore Mall. That title was our doing, not yours: the "Continue as a new post" button prefilled it, which was a bad idea and is fixed as of today. Would you give it a title of its own? Something like "HERA Sensual Powder Matte Liquid: all 7 shades swatched (Soft Autumn, dry lips)" — tap the ⋯ on the post → Edit. We've already set the search-engine title to that in the meantime, so Google sees the right thing either way; the edit is for everyone browsing here. And thank you for the asterisks on which shades came from where. That's the kind of detail that saves people money.
@CY_Team Done! Was I as fast at responding to a request as you? Probably not! 😜
@hazelmoss Ooh thank you so much for the swatches! ❤️ I only have the HERA Sensual Nude Glosses so far, but I’ve been wanting to try the Sensual Powder Matte Liquids too, so this is really helpful. And I don’t understand why the shades are scattered across different stores either. 😭 It’s especially weird with Amore Mall because HERA is literally an Amorepacific brand and that’s their own store, yet somehow they still don’t carry the entire shade range. I’ve noticed that with other HERA products too — there are products or shades that exist in Korea but just never seem to appear on the global Amore Mall. From your swatches I really like Sundaze, Dare Bare and Earl Grey. I’ve also had my eye on Pink Haze, which isn’t in your swatches but I saw that shade elsewhere and thought it was really pretty. And it’s really useful to know that the actual colors can be darker or more saturated than the official photos, because those are exactly what I would normally use to choose a shade online. 😭 And hahaha, with all the touching, chewing, eating and everything else you’re doing with your lips, I think you’re giving those lip products the ultimate wear test. 😂 At that point I don’t think anything except a seriously determined lip stain has much of a chance. How do you find the Powder Matte Liquid formula in terms of dryness? The Sensual Nude Gloss is really comfortable and hydrating on my lips, so I’m curious how different the matte formula feels. Does it stay fairly comfortable for a matte lip, or does it start making your lips feel dry after wearing it for a while?
@Veky The formulation is so smooth and creamy, probably because they have just about every form of dimethicone on the market PLUS shea butter, lol. The liquid lipstick doesn't dry down like a matte lipstick usually does, so I don't feel like it's stealing moisture from my lips. My lips might start to get patchy after a 2nd or 3rd application, which I'm guessing is due to fragrance. It has just about all the "beware" masking ingredients like Limonene, Linalool, and the elusive "fragrance." Or it could be the minerals in the pigment itself causing micro-friction. But I've been setting my timer to go off after 5 minute rounds to remind me to check how my lips feel and honestly, after 15 minutes they still feel good. Other than enjoying the texture, I don't notice it's there (due to irritation). This almost never happens for me.
P.S. They appear to be 23% off on YesStyle right now with a few shades left. 💅🏻
