My skin type Oily, acne prone, and sensitive skin Packaging & Application The application is amazingly mess free compared to regular sheet masks. It comes sandwiched between two firm plastic films, so you peel off the first side, place the mask on your face, and then remove the outer film. You barely waste any serum on your hands. My only issue with the packaging is that the protective backing and the jelly itself are extremely slippery. I almost dropped it a few times, so a textured backing film would make it a lot easier to hold onto. Fit & Adhesion The jelly texture feels amazingly smooth on the skin, but the fit has its quirks. It comes in two separate pieces for the top and bottom half. The upper part adhered in five minutes, but the lower section feels a bit heavy. The chin area kept ungluing every time I moved my head or tried to speak, taking almost an hour to finally settle and stick. If you plan on talking or moving around during that first hour, the bottom piece will shift, but once it fully sets, it stays put and feels comfortably tight. Maybe making the mask slightly lighter or extending the sheet further down the neck could really help with that chin adhesion?! Or even more serum? Wear Timeline The cooling sensation on this mask is incredible. Most masks warm up on my face quickly, but this one stayed consistently cool for almost the entire time. If you are wearing it in cold weather or sleeping in it, that chill might feel a bit much, but I did not mind it at all. Hour 1: The whole face stays chilled, and the chin area finally sticks down completely so it stops moving around. Hour 2: Still feels very cool on the skin, and the forehead section becomes completely transparent. Hour 3: The cooling effect is mostly concentrated on my cheeks, my forehead returned to normal skin temperature, almost the entire sheet is transparent, and the edges around my nose tip and neck feel dry and firm. Hour 4: The mask got very thin and dry, so I took it off. The box says you can wear it for 20 to 40 minutes or leave it on for up to 4 to 5 hours or overnight, but somewhere between threw and four hours would be the sweet spot for me. Final Results Taking it off was so satisfying because it left absolutely no sticky residue behind, which is amazing for oily and breakout prone skin. It came out in just one single piece so no mess or peeling all over. My face had a beautiful glass skin glow that looked super plump and hydrated. I wore it for 4 hours right before bed, and after a full night of sleep, my skin woke up looking insanely pretty, fresh, and dewy.

I really wanted to wear the KIERA Vitalizing Hydrogel Collagen Mask for a few hours, but I ran into and issue. Because it is a very thick, heavy hydrogel mask, it kept slipping right off my face instead of staying put. However, I will say that the formula itself is great! Even though I could only keep it on for about 15 minutes before it slid off, it left my skin incredibly moisturized. After taking it off, I rubbed the remaining product into my face, and my skin felt instantly smooth and plump. If they can improve the adherence and make it lighter so it doesn't slide, this would be a holy grail product. It's worth trying if you plan to lay completely flat while wearing it!

Kiera Vitalizing Collagen Gel Mask Review I have very dry, dehydrated and mature skin. This was my first time using a collagen gel mask, so I did not have any previous experience with this type of mask or a reference point for what to expect. First application: I applied the Kiera Vitalizing Collagen Gel Mask, and after approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes, I noticed that the mask around my mouth started changing from white to transparent. After approximately 2 hours, the entire mask had become transparent, so I removed it. Immediately afterwards, my skin had a slight glow, although it was not particularly noticeable. Unfortunately, within only a few minutes, my skin started feeling dry again. Within about 5 minutes of removing the mask, I felt that I needed to apply my usual toners, hydrating products and moisturiser to relieve the dryness. Second application: For my second application, I decided to leave the mask on for only 1½ hours to see whether a shorter application time would leave my skin feeling more hydrated. After approximately one hour, the mask started becoming transparent, and by 1½ hours it was completely transparent, so I removed it. This time, I did not notice any particular glow, and once again my skin started feeling dry within a few minutes. I needed to apply my normal hydrating skincare products and moisturiser shortly afterwards to make my skin feel comfortable again. Overall experience: Based on my personal experience, I would unfortunately not purchase this mask. I did not notice any meaningful or lasting benefits for my skin. Within approximately five minutes of removing the mask, my skin felt dry and dehydrated again. I also did not notice my skin looking or feeling noticeably more plump, smooth or hydrated, nor did I see any visible improvement in the appearance of my fine lines. The following morning, my skin did not appear more hydrated or refreshed compared with how it normally looks after my regular evening skincare routine. I appreciate that skincare products can perform differently depending on individual skin types, and someone with normal or oilier skin may have a different experience. However, for my very dry and dehydrated skin, the Kiera Vitalizing Collagen Gel Mask did not provide the level of hydration or visible results I was hoping for. For this reason, I personally would not spend money purchasing this mask. Positive of the mask is it had no sent and it adhere very well to your skin, no slipping off and not trouble to walk around with mask on your face and also comfortable.

I used it one time and it was a bit hard to put on the skin because there was a very slippery plastic ”protector”. The finish was glowy and the texture was gel. I personally prefer masks which brings me more glow and hydration. I felt like it absorbed really slowly. Overall a good basic mask.

I really enjoyed this mask. My skin LOVED the serum, soaked it up in about 5.5 hours. The entire mask aside from the overlap points was as transparent as glass! Usually it takes my skin 2 hours to absorb an overnight mask. I found the nose part a bit long, but just folded it a bit. The third time I used the mask I measured and used very clean scissors to cut some of the contact points of the cheek and made myself a neck mask with this and the cuts outs (eyes, mouth). It was awesome. I found it very comfortable to wear. The instructions do say that it will take a bit to adhere because it is so saturated with serum, and this was true. I lay down for a few minutes after putting on the mask and after that it stayed on great. I wore it to fold laundry and get some housework done. It is a bit thicker than other collagen masks I've used, which I liked. The texture made it feel more substantial and more nourishing. The smell is neutral. In the photos I'm holding up fingers to indicate how many hours it has been since I put on the mask. The first photo is right after putting the mask on. The last photo is just before I removed it.

The box comes with 4 masks total, I used two masks as directed in the instructions and the other 2 masks chilled in the fridge for 10 minutes and then followed the same instrctions. My skin felt and looked smooth and hydrated; I patted in the leftover product til it was absorbed for the most part. It wasn’t sticky or slimy. The mask covers my face completely but when it starts to adhere, it shrinks a bit. I couldn’t find a smell to it or it was subtle enough for me not to notice. The first mask I used at night before bed and it absorbed into my face in 3.5 hours only leaving some product left over where the flaps overlap. The second mask I used in the morning before bed, after skipping some of my skin care products to prevent an overload or contradictions, same around 3.5 hours but not 5. I was able to continue doing my thing after it completely adhered to my face. I recommend a straw if you get thirsty from waiting 3+ hours awake. The other two masks I experimented with and I chilled them in the refrigerator for 10 minutes; they felt amazing — so cool and refreshing when I applied the gel mask to my face. I used them the same, one at night and the other in the morning. The product took a bit longer to absorb into my face from the mask even when I patted in the remaining product around 4 hours and 10 (rounding) minutes but I didn’t mind it too much. It was my first time using any sort of face masks so this was a fun-learning experience for me! I am now addicted and I cannot wait til I can wear another one! Thank you KIERA.

The weather being so weird this year, my face was unusually dry going into autumn. This mask saved the day with intense lasting hydration. The serum feels very luxurious and there's enough to slather all over my neck and chest after putting on the mask. I used the masks from 30 minutes to overnight and each time my face was plumped and hydrated for days. I haven't had any more tightness or itching of the skin I'd been experiencing prior. Leaving it on for longer let's all the serum sink into my skin and my face feels so incredibly soft, moisturized and bouncy. This would be an amazing weekly treatment, or a special occasion treat so you're looking your best exactly when you need to. It's fragrance free and I had no irritation. My skin just feels healthy and happy right now.

Looking at the INCI, the formulation is very well calibrated for sensitive skin: it is entirely free of artificial fragrance, drying alcohols, and ferments (like Galactomyces), relying instead on 300Da Hydrolyzed Collagen (1,600 ppm), soothing peptides, and genuine barrier lipids (Ceramide NP, Linoleic Acid, Shea Butter, and Hydrogenated Lecithin). Because of the generous 40g ampoule load, the sheets are notably slippery out of the pouch and need about 10–15 minutes to warm up and properly anchor to facial contours. Once set, it adheres comfortably and gradually transitions from milky to translucent without tearing. I wore it for 2 hours, which turned out to be past the threshold for my reactive skin. While my cheeks and forehead emerged completely calm, pale, and deeply hydrated with zero contact erythema, the thinner tissue over my nose flushed pink as the gel reached full desiccation and began to adhere more tightly. For sensitive or vascularly reactive skin, it performs best when kept to a 45–60 minute window rather than letting it dry down entirely. Overall, it is a great, non-irritating maintenance mask for a gentle plumping reset—hydrating and comfortable, without the stinging risk of ferment-heavy hydrogels.
