I can't say whether it works as I've been using it for only three weeks. I have nothing against the idea (love the clear version!), but I have issues with the black mascar format. Unless you have the palest blond eyelashes, you won't notice any chnge on your lashes other thatn bad clumping. When I applied a thing layer, the lashes look fine (no "blackening" mascara effect) - they're soft and nice. However, when I tried to put more layers to achieve more of a "mascara" look, they clumped horrible and I ended up with four spider lashes. Having said that, the lashed remained quite soft as the product doesn't harden to a point of stiff lashes. Sorry to say, this product is a miss... although concept behind it is great! What a great product (so far, after 3 weeks). I cannot say whether it wors as a lash grow serum, but it definately conditions my lashes and leave them soft and shiny. It doen't seem to have any prostoglandins so your irises won't change their colour! Yaay! (because I like my blue eyes ;)) The applicator is simply genius! It has a mascare spoolie to comb through the lashes AND a little ball at the top to apply the serum along the lash line. Love it so much!

The Kiera Blooming Eyelash Serum is a decent product if your main goal is lash health. It has a nice, easy-to-use applicator and doesn't leave a sticky residue, nor did it sting my eyes (and I suffer from dry eyes). While it didn't give me any noticeable difference in lash length or volume, it did improve the texture of my lashes. They look much healthier, softer, and more conditioned than they did before. It’s a nice lash care step, but don't expect a dramatic transformation.

Serum in black version promises to tint lashes but the colour payoff is minimal. It’s also very gloopy, so it clumps the lashes together instead of giving them any definition. I used it in the morning instead of my usual mascara but it did nothing to emphasise my lashes. I also haven’t noticed any spectacular improvement in lashes condition. I would not either buy it or recommend it to anyone.

Non irritating formula, easy to apply with the wand. I can see the idea behind combining an eyelash serum with the properties of mascara, so you can use it even during the day, but I would prefer to just use the serum at night and use a good mascara during the day. Formula was too light and didn't give much hold or volume and using two coats made it clumpy. I would prefer the clear version instead

A high-quality product. No irritation in the eyes. However, the mascara lacked definition. Additionally, the color did not distribute properly. Sometimes it made some small clumps on the lashes, and I had to go over with the brush a few times. Since I have sensitive eyes, I use tubing mascaras. They give definition, and the eyelashes look long and stand out. So, although the Kiera mascara is a high-quality product, it doesn't give me the look I expect. However, for an everyday discreet look, this mascara is fine.

A few days is biologically too brief to evaluate true lash growth or density changes, as the anagen cycle requires 4–6 weeks, but I can evaluate its immediate cosmetic performance. The gel feels slightly sticky for the first minute, but it is easy to work with and sets without crunchiness or ocular irritation. My natural lashes are light blonde, short, and barely visible; this adds an effortless, subtle tint and separation that defines them naturally. I likely wouldn't purchase the Black version myself because I prioritize root stimulation. I prefer the Clear version since its sponge tip targets the follicular bulb directly, whereas the Black spoolie primarily coats the hair shaft. Overall, it is a nice-to-have rather than a must-have: ideal if you prefer a minimal, no-makeup look, or as a nourishing peptide base layer under regular mascara!
