After years of picking at the dry chapped skin on my lips (OCD related), I developed Exfoliative Cheilitis. Now whenever my lips get even a little dry they flake and peel in large thick layers. This balm has helped keep my lips soft and moisturized more so than any other product I've ever tried. Feel & Finish: Balm is thick but easily spreadable. Viscosity ofcourse will vary depending on the temperature. Once applied, lips stay slick, soft, and moisturized without any noticiable stickiness.This effect lasts for a significant amount of time, though those with less dryness would probably get even more longevity than I did. Do not however kiss your furry pets while wearing the balm or you will get a lot hair stuck to your lips. Efficacy: Creme Balm has been a blessing for my ultra dry lips. Applied throughout the day it keeps my lips from drying out, preventing most peeling from occurring. Used as a lip night mask it stays on throughout the whole night and keeps lips moist till morning. With consistent use I've noticed that my lips don't get as easily chapped as they once did. The thick skin of my lips is softer, holds moisture better and even feels thinner. Scent: Both the scent and taste of the balm is a very light mint. Personally I don't like mint in most circumstances but this mint is so mild and non-offensive that even I don't mind it at all. If you really like mint though you might be disappointed in the lack of intense mintiness. This mint flavor has no harsh bite to it and is as gentle as a buttermint candy. Overall thoughts: I love the outer packaging for this product. It's unique in shape, space saving and eco-friendly and just a really clever design. The tube of balm itself is a fairly normal flexible plastic but with its ceramic applicator it really stands out. The ceramic feels cool and soothing, and helps with product application. You wouldn't think such a small detail would make much of a difference but it really does. The tube cap is secure and allows for easy portability and little mess. I found myself constantly carrying a tube of the balm with me wherever I went, even inside my own home. I always wanted to have it ready at hand. The product itself is an opaque very light pink colour. In most cases it isn't very noticeable on the lips other than a light glossy sheen. However if you apply the product thickly or if you have darker coloured lips the balm can create a washed out milky layer that is much more noticeable. Overall Creme Balm is an amazing and effective product. There is really not much of anything I dislike about it. Though I would of course welcome other flavors besides mint.

This is a very thick balm. It’s not sticky or tacky though. I usually put it on before bed because it’s so thick and I wake up to my lips feeling hydrated. The mint smell is not strong and it doesn’t taste like mint. It has a creamy white color if you add too much and didn’t work well with lip stick. I do think it’s a great treatment at night or first thing in the morning to rehydrate lips.

The day I received in the mail my son had just come from school and his lips were extremely chapped and dry so I tested on him and I was amazed at how moisturized his lips were after application. He asks for it whenever his lips are chapped. I’ve been using it everyday and night ever since. The applicator feels cooling on the lips and I love that I don’t have to stick my fingers on a jar to put on a lip balm.

- First impressions: First of all, sending two balms is super generous. The pupper in their logo is too cute. I don't know that dog, but I wanna pet that dog. The company clearly thought about their packaging with care. I love the Toblerone boxing, lol. After unboxing a ton of square and rectangular product packaging lately, the triangle shape gives a little je ne sais quoi that definitely caught my eye. The box would stand out to me on a store shelf among other lip products immediately. I also love an applicator instead of having to use my fingers -- sensory + hygiene friendly, thanks! I smeared the product on the back of my hand for a photo and the balm has a very delicate pink color that has a nice brightening effect on the lips without actually altering the color. Also, it dried down on my hand like a really nice cream. The mint scent is very mild, which is a plus for those of us with fragrance sensitivities. The balm tastes a little like cardboard. But I had to consciously go out of my way to taste it. The balm doesn't slide around or get in the mouth. - Compared to Tatcha's overnight lip mask it's a much thinner formulation but has the same grip that makes it very comfortable to use as an overnight treatment. I like that it has a brightening aspect to it. - Compared to Lenaige's overnight lip masks, I like that the CremeBalm's product scent doesn't put me in a coma. - Compared to lip balms in general - praise be for no blister packs! Great box. Sweet branding. Great for gifting. Experience: Photo of me in green: happy first time user. Photo of me in taupe: happy to continue user. This product heals my lips every night from the damage of other lip products, sun, dryness, sensitivity, and peeling. It's amazing and soothing. Just the right amount of "menthol" cooling sensation. One tube goes in my evening "wind down" routine bag to be used as a lip mask. The other stays in my purse and is applied as the first step in priming my lips for makeup. I wasn't expecting to find a holy grail lip balm, but this is the best my lips have felt in my entire life. Seriously. As a kid my lips felt so irritated, I'd pick at the skin until it bled. I don't feel like I have to constantly reach for a lip balm because my lips are hydrated and calm. I need to know how I can get my hands on this before these tubes run out. Thank you for the opportunity to test this product. Edit: I was able to capture before / after photos of damaged lips from wearing lipstick (close up in green shirt/orange nails). The after shows the flakiness is gone overnight (close-up with beige jacket/orange nails). I'm not sure how well the photos capture the flaky skin vs the healed skin because I have wrinkly lips. However, the balm really does take away all the damage from the day before, which is amazing.

The packaging itself is distinct. The product is dispensed through the applicator's flat side and rolls onto the lips with the rounded side. The scent is pleasantly minty. There is a lovely sparkle that gave my lips a glow. After going to the hospital due to being severely dehydrated I continued to use the lip balm. My lips were scary from dryness. This is the only product that soothed my lips. The feeling is gently tingly and soft. I loved that my bumpy, peeling lips were restored. My close-up shows how well-hydrated my lips are now after a week of using this product I would repurchase.
