My hair is naturally curled and often times I find it hard for styling because I prefer straight hair. However my hair is damaged that I have split ends and my hair looks fizzy sometimes, hence forbidding me to have it straightened in the salon. As you can see from the before and after photos, before using the shampoo, my hair is curled and they look dry. After only one use, my hair is naturally straightened and they look more tidied. I also love that my hair feels soft and moisturised after shampooing. Will recommend this shampoo for damaged and dry hair.

If you have normal, unproblematic, or even dry hair/scalp, you'll like this. I really wanted to like it because it's just so easy to use and not fussy at all. The consistency is great - not too runny, not too viscous. I have a video of the lather, but I can't upload it. It lathers very well and didn't fade my hair color, but it just made my hair oily so quickly! I usually wash my hair every ~3 days but I HAD to wash it everyday using this shampoo, even with dry shampoo. The scent is okay, kind of minty - if you've used the Cotton Foot cooling foot shampoo, it's IDENTICAL in scent.

My hair is oily at the scalp and dry everywhere else. I also experience hair shedding/thinning. It’s difficult to manage, and I’ve been trying to figure out a haircare routine to help. I enjoyed this shampoo so much. It cleanses my oily hair and removes product build up very easily and effectively. The pump bottle is easy to use. It has a light spa like clean smell that’s enjoyable without being overpowering. It doesn’t weigh down or leave residue on my very fine hair. I very much enjoyed this shampoo and would definitely consider purchasing it again!

Context: My hair is color treated and lightened, thin/sparse, and I have been diagnosed with psoriasis and an endocrine disorder that both contribute to hair fall and lack of growth. I have been treated with an oral prescription for the psoriasis but just before the trial my doctor switched my medication. At the beginning of the trial, my scalp was flaking and breaking out. Photo 1: the product in use on Trial Day 9. Photo 2: My scalp prior to using the shampoo. Photo 3: My scalp after 14 days. My impressions: 500ml is a nice amount of product. The formulation surprised me by being creamy like a conditioner rather than a gel consistency, but I found this pleasant. The scent was minimal, which I consider very important. One full pump is more than generous for what my hair required. The shampoo actually lathered up for me very well, despite the info card. It has a nice mousse-like texture once it's emulsified. I felt a slight pleasant tingle on my scalp before I rinsed the product. However, I noticed that my hair felt like it was “seizing” or matting after application. It was difficult to nearly impossible to get my fingers through my hair in order to scrub my scalp, as if the hair had been felted. There was no slip at all. After 3 washes, although my scalp felt comfortable, my hair began to feel drier, especially at the ends where the hair has been lightened. I added a conditioner designed for hair loss that is very hydrating. I usually wash every other day and use dry shampoo between. On the occasions when my wash days fell back to back, the severity of matting decreased quite a bit making it easier to scrub my scalp. It seems like the formula struggles when interacting with dry shampoo and styling products like volumizing hair spray. I had to use a hydrating shampoo first to rinse those products out of my hair in order to be able to use the kelp shampoo without breaking my hair or causing tears in my cuticles. My scalp did feel clean after each wash, but it’s difficult to say how much that had to do with the kelp shampoo alone since I could not scrub the product onto my scalp without using another shampoo first. Summary: - I would like more hydrating slip from this shampoo for my fine, lightened/color-treated hair so that it isn’t catching and getting pulled when I’m washing, brushing, or applying product. I have to rely overly on hydrating shampoos and heavy conditioners to help maintain my mid-length and ends to compensate. - This shampoo does not play well with dry shampoo or spray-on styling products on the hair. - I noticed that on Day 9 when I got out of the shower to take the photo of the product in use, my hair and scalp felt much better than other times I used the shampoo. Perhaps a suggested leave in period would be a good idea to help the shampoo work through any product? I’ve seen this on other “clean” low-lather products like Innersense or Colour Organics products. With some tweaks, I believe this could be a very usable product. For now I can't say I would recommend it to someone with my hair type and styling habits.

I have aging/graying and thinning hair and finding a shampoo that doesn't dry out my natural hair has been a challenge! Hairmind Kelp Shampoo was a good has a very subtle scent that I don't mind at all. I used my scalp scrubber, and it lathers up quite nicely. Kelp shampoo thoroughly cleans the scalp and rinses out easily and doesn't strip your natural moisture. It leaves my hair soft without use of a conditioner. I can go 2 to 3 days in between shampoos!If you have natural, mature hair that needs a gentle touch but still wants a deep, long-lasting clean, this is it!

First of all I would thanks you again for the opportunity to test this and the lovely message the shampoo included from the Hairmind team! I have tested this shampoo for almost three weeks now and like it a lot. The bottle is amazing, even if you have to be a bit careful not to dispense too much product. The viscosity of the products is nice, it feels richer and lathers not too much, but also you get a feeling that your scalp gets cleaned properly. This is where the Shampoo really shines - my scalp was super refreshed and my hair had a lot of volume after drying it. The formula is a bit too drying though for me to use it every day, since I have a sensitive scalp that is prone to be dehydrated as well. As an addition to my routine though this is an amazing shampoo, the scent is also heavely. I hope there is a way to buy this in Europe, since I would very much like to purchase this shampoo in the future!

I received this product for my honest review. I have fine thinning hair thats colored. I used to wash my hair twice in the shower. I find that this shampoo does a really good at cleaning tour scalp and leaves a tingling. I feel as though you need a really good conditioner. It smells really nice the scent doesn't last long. I will definitely buy it.

Has been wanting to try a kelp/seaweed shampoo. The texture of this shampoo is like cleansing milk type. Very soft and silky with a nice scent. The shampoo is not harsh on my sensitive scalp, it cleanses well and my scalp feels clean and fresh after washing. It does not weigh down my hair nor makes my hair roots flat. However, is rather drying for my thick coarse hair after washing. Pairing this shampoo with a good hair treatment/hair mask will be the best. Overall, it has very good ingredients list in this formulated shampoo. Packaging wise, is easy to pump and good quality kind of bottle. Thank you. ♥️

I loved how the Shampoo made my hair feel! I could tell after rinsing it out, that my hair felt clean. After my hair air dried, the texture of my hair was very soft. It kept the same softness for multiple days, with different hairstyles. The scent is very natural smelling, which I don't mind.

This shampoo cleanses well without drying my very sensitive scalp (I have mild scalp psoriasis that can get irritated easily). My hair feels soft and manageable as well. I also love the mild and temporary cooling sensation right after rinsing. The scent is mild and pleasant.
