I have a lot of mixed feelings about this product and would love to hear your thoughts on it as well! I know the internet either loves it or hates it. I actually started with the mini version, which convinced me to buy the full size. It is advertised mainly for soothing redness, but I noticed a lot of people using it to treat post acne marks, which is what I was using it for too.

At first, I thought it was working really well. It calmed down my breakouts on rough skin days, and I do believe it helped prevent post acne marks. However, the turning point was when I bought the Boots Azelaic Acid Serum from the drugstore. I noticed the Boots serum worked much faster and more effectively for less than half the price of the Anua one.

Still, I did not want to give up on it. I pushed through almost the entire bottle, using it daily for a little over a month, but to be honest, the results just are not that impressive. While it does help calm my skin and prevent new marks, the effects feel temporary. I know most skincare products take time to work and maybe this is just a slower acting formula, but the Boots serum made my skin look so much better in just a few days that it really made me question the Anua one.

On a positive note for Anua, the texture is lovely. It dries slightly tacky, but I still prefer this serum texture. By comparison, the Boots serum dries completely matte with zero tackiness, but after a few hours, it starts pilling (meaning the product rolls off, not my skin).

I’m not sure if I would repurchase it because it feels a bit pricey for such subtle visible results, though maybe I just need to give it more time. I also picked up the Purito Azelaic Acid to test out next, so if you have tried that one (or anything that helps with acne and acne marks), please let me know your thoughts!
