Steaming Eye Mask -- Oolong Tea

I just posted a product review to YesStyle for this mask set and thought I'd share my thoughts here, especially since my topical routine is down to bare bones and some of you are in the same boat. I'm new to this kind of product, so I can't provide a comparative analysis. Just personal experience.

I first used these masks in August during an illness. Medication and disrupted sleep made the skin around my eyes puffy. I was also in a lot of pain and away from home. It's a small thing, but the gentle warmth from the eye mask at night while trying to fall asleep just gave me some extra comfort that helped my body relax and fall asleep faster. These masks also effectively blocked any light, so I didn't miss my regular blackout mask. The ear straps are much more comfortable than having elastic around my head. In the morning, the puffiness was gone. As for scent, I honestly can barely detect it and that's fine with me. They don't become so warm that I can't use them during the summer when the AC is running, but I can't wait for cooler weather because I know they will be an extra treat. They live in my bedside TLC bag.

Coolkiss Steam Eye Masks come in 3 varieties and in packs of 10 individually wrapped packets. The dollar amount is less than the quantity in the box, which is how I generally chose between brands (besides fragrance), lol. They're one time use for heat, but I admit I've used them over again just as a comfy blackout mask (and not at all because I forgot my mask at home...ahem). I only have two left of the first box. Maybe it's because they provided relief when I felt really unwell, but I'm extremely fond of these masks. I recommend them as a low cost, low effort, moderate payoff self-care "device" for any skin type and most budgets.
