📝 REVIEW:
Steam eye masks come in clutch when I’m feeling drained, in pain, and when I need a “blackout curtain” for sensory overload -- or when a 5 hour trip to the city leaves behind purple smudges and puffy eyelids like little postcards.

Opening the pouch activates the mask. The mask then requires a few minutes to warm up. This leaves time to finish any last minute fidgeting or tucking one’s self into bed before blocking out the world. After about five minutes the mask becomes comfortably toasty and hits peak roast around 15 minutes and lingers for another then before a steady cool down period. Eyes felt relaxed and no more puffiness!

But reusable, microwavable eye masks are available? Why use disposable masks? Perfection is the enemy of the good, Becky. For neurodivergent self-care, the fewer amount of steps the better. It is the difference between doing it at all.
