It really is so dependent on age, skin type, and specific concerns! But looking back at what has earned a permanent spot on my shelf, here are my true holy grails and staples: Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream: A genuine discovery for me. It gives such a natural, flattering finish and performs better than most high-end foundations I’ve tried. Oil Cleansers (as part of double cleansing): I absolutely love the tactile sensation of an oil cleanser on the skin. It makes removing SPF and makeup feel like a mini evening ritual rather than a chore. Korean Sunscreens: Completely ruined Western SPFs for me. The textures are lightweight, elegant, and actually enjoyable to apply every morning. Facial Mists: Perfect for an easy, even layer of hydration and unbeatable for a refreshing reset during warm summer days. Hydrogel Masks: My go-to before an event or when my skin needs a quick pick-me-up. The glow is temporary, but the immediate plumping effect is so satisfying! The 'Faith' Category: Retinoids: Being late 30s, I use them religiously for long-term healthy aging—though honestly, at this point, it feels a bit like an act of faith since I lack a parallel control face to compare it against! 🧪 What skin type/concerns are you targeting right now? Might help us narrow down more specific recommendations for you!

My HG aren’t Korean skincare. I’m trying to find Korean skincare that can replace my HG. These are some Korean skincare I like for dry, dehydrated, mature skin Toner: numbuzin no. 9 toner, holitual toner & emulsion, inistree green tea toner Essence: numbuzin no. 9 essence, VT PDRN essence, Haru Haru black rice essence, Aestura hydro essence Serums: wellage HA, ample:n ceramide, VT R5 firming essence, iunik beta glucan, holitual serum, numbuzin no.5 brightening serum, rejuran ampoule. Moisturizer: physiogel (I like all their moisturizers), illiyoon ceramide cream/lotion, dear klairs midnight calming cream, tosowoong 20% panthenol cream, layer lab barrier cream, foretderm firming cream, Iunik beta glucan cream, Aestura 365 cream/lotion for when the skin is needing an sos, dr. Reju-all ceramid cream Gel/foam cleanser: foretderm gel cleanser, physiogel daily gel cleanser, real barrier ceramide foam cleanser Milk cleanser: theyeobaek26, jumisol panthenol cleanser. Not a fan of make prem. It’s not hydrating enough for me. Oil cleansers: I’ve only tried a few Korean oil cleansers and they all dry my skin out. I prefer Japanese oil cleansers better. Attentir, Fancl, muji are all good.

Wow! You gave me some great ideas for products to try next. Because of the climate here, my skin trends dry and sensitive, so I have to be pretty selective with active ingredients—but a couple of these look really promising 💕

I have had a lot of breakouts recently and the Aestura mini kit saved my skin barrier! I used it all of it and repurchased because it’s something I will get back to every time I feel my skin is in need! Their foaming cleanser is suuuuper gentle and it almost feels like nothing on your face so if you wear a lot of make up you will probably need something stronger like an oil cleanser instead. The moisturiser from the kit is very rich and creamy and I love it! I would say is perfect for winter time or dry skin (my skin is oily and it’s a bit heavy to me so I use the smallest amount of it) and even though is not for my skin type it did wonders on my skin barrier! They do have the gel version for oily skin too but it does not come in the kit! I got obsessed with this brand and I don’t see many people talking enough about it! It’s not very popular globally and it’s also a bit more expensive than other K-Beauty products. I got the mini kit because the value is really good and it lasted me around 2 months because you don’t need to use a lot of it every time!

Hello Emily, I have oily to combination skin and one of my most recommended Products is the Skin1004 Centella Cleansing Oil. It's really lightweight and removes makeup easily ( but i always use a separate Eye Makeup remover) furthermore it deep cleanses my skin from exess sebum without irritating it. So if you want to find a new holy grail I would recommend it + it's affordable ( you can get it for about 11-16€ where I live)

I have this one too! It is very gentle and I like it a lot, but I do use it only for when I have makeup on, if I don’t have anything I rather not use any cleansing oil but that’s just a texture preference, the product is very good!

I also love this cleansing oil, I use it every evening because it helps removing the spf and other products I use during the day and I have mature sensitive prone to dry skin. I love it! 💫

I’m 46 with dry skin (used to be oily but that’s all changed now 😩) Over the past 18 months I have been using 90% Korean skincare. Here are the things I can’t live without… Anua milky toner - I pop it into a spray bottle and spritz my face after cleansing and whenever it feels a bit dry. I love it and can’t live without it. VY PDRN essence is my newest holy grail. I’m vegetarian so it being a plant based PDRN is fab! It leaves my skin looking plump and dewy every time! If I’m not doing a mask or active serums I just use a hydrating moisturiser and I’m set. Lastly - the Inkey List peptide moisturiser is my favourite this last 6 months. It’s so hydrating! I use it at night and when I wake my skin still feels hydrated and looks plump. Jo ❤️

I love the VT PDRN essence! I didn’t think it would work for my combo skin but it is great and is soothing on my skin!

Thank you for your suggestions but I’m really sensitive so like my skin can’t take fragrance or alcohol or it will get clogged and break out
