Hazelmoss October Empties

🏆 The VIPs, folks! HOCl spray, body toner, and fiber!

🍂and the last roses of summer…I won’t open another SPF stick until short sleeves weather. I use them on my arms.

🛡️happy trial of AESTURA minis.

P.S. I am not endorsing Tower 28. It’s great but you’re paying for the brand not a superior product. It came recommended by a makeup artist I worked with. I learned my lesson. Drugstore is best! These are the mist bottles I’ve refilled and reused to the point breaking. See my routine for current bulk brands and refillable continuous mist bottles that replaced these.

I actually was just talking about how I need more fiber! I love how detailed your products list is! You even listed tap water! I need you to come over and help me do mine hahaha

Heh. My library degree is showing. Must. Catalog. Everything. 😅 Also my tap water is evil! It's my biggest rosacea trigger. I haven't had one sunburn all year -- but I look like I've got a sunburn whenever I get out of the shower. 🦞 I had Gemini look up and regurgitate my village's water quality report so I could list all of the junk it contains and the hardness level in the INCI list. Anyway, the Skin Log is slowly taking over the function that my spreadsheet used to serve. It can generate reports and it has pictures! If I help with yours will I get a Skin Log Scribe Badge? 🫡 LOL, how long of a drive is it? Fiber needs to be on top of the list for all of us with autoimmune issues and neurodivergence. Gut health is such a key component in reducing inflammation -- and it impacts the skin and the brain -- which is where our labels come from. But it's also the hardest macro for me to hit! A whole carrot only has 1 gram of fiber and even an apple only has 2 or 3 grams and I'm supposed to try for roughly 25 grams a day??? Plus high fiber foods tend to need more cooking, which I have no energy for. The Foodology sticks are stupid expensive but I grab them when I see a good sale. Otherwise, I buy a bottle of fiber gummies to help supplement or powdered fiber. But the advantage of Foodology is the added collagen. Look at the ingredients labels though because they are long and I guarantee you're allergic to something in there. Lots of fruits! Fiber in the morning, I grab boxes of Millville (Aldi) wheat flakes. There's 7 grams of fiber per serving as opposed to 5 for Wheaties. Lastly, when I added an inexpensive probiotic gummy alongside my fiber intake, my digestion finally stabilized! Literally, just used Olly brand. I definitely think that's part of why my skin is starting to improve so much, in addition to simpler skincare.

Hey! I noticed you have the green Foodology Collagen Centella Jelly in your box 💚 Quick question if you don't mind - have you tried it? Did you notice any glow or hydration for your skin? Thinking of getting it!

The green ones are my favorite -- they taste like apple. Unfortunately I learned that centella / gotu kola is contraindicated for use with sedatives. So once my last box runs out I will need to discontinue. I definitely noticed hydration or that nice full jelly feeling skin gets when it's hydrated. It took a month or two -- and it was in combination with upping my fiber. As for glow, I unfortunately murdered my skin barrier a few times over the summer so while I did have glow -- it was more like a Rudolph the Red Nose reindeer kind of glow. What I love most about the Foodology sticks is the ease of getting fiber, collagen, and antioxidants. They really helped with digestion, which also makes the skin glowier and more hydrated.

Ooh haven't heard of Honeydew labs! How did you use the spray? I've been meaning to get a Hypochlorous Acid product too but unsure how I should use it.
