i have a huge bias here but for daily use, torriden cream is better as it does hydrate. klairs is better for spot treating any redness or irritation(which is instantly soothed), it does not have a lot of moisturizing ingredients and might not feel occlusive enough on the skin leading to the perception of dry skin. though having both of them in your arsenal can be a huge bonus and you can also do an A-B test where you try one on one of the half face and one on the other(fun experiment and helps in figuring out which one is best for you). also i didn't know they have reformulated it or just repackaged? i'm still using the black packaging so not sure if the reformulation adds anything new to the formula.
Thanks! Reading the distinctions is so helpful. The struggle I had with the Etude panthensoside cream is that it didn't add hydration (or not enough), and the toner alone didn't either. They were both excellent for not adding to the irritation load, so they aren't bad products. But I'm learning I enjoy barrier creams that aren't film-forming and that add hydration. AESTURA is better at balancing that. I don't need more creams right now, but I keep seeing these two floating around the internet and I like to learn if they're worth keeping in the back of my mind for later.
