You asked, so we built it: a private line to the team, three Skin Log fixes, and a better way to follow your threads

Three members wrote today(?) with requests specific enough to build from. All of it is live.

A private way to reach us. Until now the only "contact" was a link that opened your mail app, and nothing else. That was on us. Now there's a real one: tap your avatar → "Message the team" (or the same link in the footer). A question, a shipping problem with your tester parcel, an account issue, or something you'd rather report privately. Only the team sees it, you get an email confirmation, we reply within a day, and you can read our reply and answer under My messages. Every post and comment's Report menu now also has "Report privately to the team." If you ever feel unsafe here, that's the button.

Face, body, or both. Every product on your shelf has that switch now. Mark a body cream as body-only and it drops out of the face-level checks: the active-overlap panel, conflict warnings and the trial insight stop treating it as something on your reactive face. It still counts for Used today and your monthly rollup.

Trial titles and photos are editable (the ✎ next to the name), and the form no longer accepts a pasted link as a product name.

Sixteen concerns instead of four: dryness, excess oil, breakouts, flushing/redness, trapped heat, stinging/burning, allergic reaction, damaged barrier, dullness, uneven tone, dark spots/PIH, sun damage, texture, pores, fine lines, elasticity.

On DMs. A thread this week asked for private messages between members, and a few of you wondered aloud whether others would use them. Honest answer: not yet. The wandering threads you were half-apologising for are where most of this community's best answers live, and a DM button quietly moves those conversations out of sight. One-to-one messaging between 700 people in 44 countries also needs moderation we've only just begun. That said, this is not a closed door. DMs stay on our list, we keep thinking about them, and we'll revisit as the community grows. For now we built what was actually underneath the request:

Notifications now take you to the exact reply, highlighted, not the top of the post.
My conversations (avatar menu): every thread you've commented in, with how many new replies each has since you last wrote and the latest one previewed. Catch up in one place.
"Continue as a new post" on any comment's ⋯ menu: lifts a side conversation into its own post, quoting where it started, and leaves a pointer in the original thread. The barrier-SPF post stays about barrier SPF; the cushion conversation gets a home.
