You asked, so we changed it: AM/PM, a monthly rollup, and what your skin struggled with

A member wrote us a note that was basically a spec, so we built it today. Three things just landed in Skin Log.

Used today now knows morning from night. The button is still one tap — tap it and you're done, nothing changed for you. But once it's on, two small toggles appear under it: AM and PM. Pick one if you want to track exposure precisely, or both for an active you apply twice a day. If you alternate retinoid nights with barrier-rest nights, this is the first time the log can actually tell them apart.

Month at a glance is a new card right under your routine. It shows how many times you used each product this month (with the AM/PM breakdown), on how many days, and how many days each active ingredient actually touched your skin — niacinamide 20 days, retinal 14, that kind of thing. If two products carry the same active, a day still counts once. You can flip back to previous months.

Your skin this month is in the same card, for those of you logging the extra metrics under "Track more details". Once you've logged a metric on 10 or more days in a month, it shows which one struggled most and which one swung the most. Under 10 days it tells you how many more to go rather than guessing from too little data.

One thing we left out on purpose: the card gives you numbers, not verdicts. It won't tell you whether 14 retinal nights is too many. That's your call, ideally with someone who knows your skin.

If you've never tapped Used today, this is the month to start — the rollup only knows what you tell it.

Ideas like this one come from your posts. Keep them coming.
